Join us on Friday, January 26, 2024, as we spend the evening recognizing and honoring our 2024 Trailblazers Award Recipients. Tickets are on sale now!
2018 began a special annual tradition of recognizing the trailblazing work of people who have been instrumental in implementing and preserving Drug Treatment Court, as well as recovery oriented services and spaces for a demographic of people who have historically been marginalized, underrepresented, and over exploited. Judge William Schma, also known as the Father of Kalamazoo County Drug Treatment Court, was the first ever recipient of the HOPE thru Navigation Judge William Schma Trailblazer of HOPE Award, thus inaugurating our annual tribute.
There are many ways you can support our 6th Annual Trailblazers of HOPE Tribute. For the 6th Year, we invite and welcome you to celebrate this special milestone with us and pay tribute in recognizing the EXTRAORDINARY contributions of Ordinary people, who believe in Second Chances, have Compassion for Kalamazoo’s most vulnerable, and believe in the HOPE that Changes Everything.
The Annual Trailblazers of HOPE Tribute is a Recognition Ceremony honoring the contributions of people who have been instrumental in creating and implementing welcoming, equitable, and inclusive programs, places, and spaces for individuals with criminal backgrounds and/or Substance Use Disorder history.
